About Us
Nestling close to the foothills of the Dublin mountains, Marianella has beautiful gardens in a quiet,
residential suburb and is only twenty minutes from the centre of Dublin. It is home to a lively
and welcoming community with a varied apostolate and is the main formation centre of the Irish Redemptorists.
Celebration of the Eucharist and Liturgy of the Hours is an important
feature of life in Marianella.

Marianella Grounds
The Irish Redemptorists have a long tradition of responding to
the changing needs of priests and religious. We have a growing
commitment to empowering lay people and to advancing the position
of women in the church.
Marianella
is ideally suited for relaxation and recreation. The centre has
beautiful grounds and is perfectly located for those
who like walking. There are tennis courts in the grounds and
good golf clubs nearby. Swimmers can avail of facilities in
some of the local sports centres and schools.
Dublin is a lovely city to explore on foot and has a rich cultural
life to share with the visitor. It has some fine theatres, good cinemas
and is home to Ireland's National Gallery, National Museum and
National
Concert Hall. These are all accessible from Marianella with public
transport.
